50 Yellow and 50 Blue unbreakable, self-separating, opaque plastic impression posts.  To be used with any impression method (including silver plating & plastic dies). 

Yellow: 14.4mm length, 0.8mm tip diameter

Blue: 16.97mm length, 1.0mm tip diameter

2º taper Reamers available separately.

 

Preci Post Reamers

Yellow Tip Ø: 0.8mm

Blue Tip Ø: 1.0mm

Dead tip, so the reamers will follow the existing canal.

Reverse fluted, so excess will leave canal.

 

Preci Post Instructions

1.  Prepare the root canal with either the Yellow or Blue Root Canal Reamer (FIG 2).  Roughen the posts to provide retention (FIG 2).

2.  Place the corresponding yellow or blue opaque impression post in the canal (FIG 3).

3.  Take an accurate impression.  The posts are provided with retentions for a proper fit in the impression material and will allow it to be draw off with the impression (FIG 4-5).

4.  Pour the master model and prepare dies.  The Impression post is self-separating and will not adhere to most die materials (FIG 6).

5.  In the Laboratory,  remove the impression post and replace it with the transparent laboratory burn-out post (FIG 7).  Reduce it to its correct length and make sure that the top offers a little retention for wax.

6.  Make the wax pattern directly to the post (FIG 8).

7. Sprue, invest (Preci-Roto System), burnout, and cast the pattern (FIG 9).  The result is always an exact fitting post-coping without solder joint (FIG 10).
