| Full cover crown in molar region
Step-by-step:
- The first molar, with an amalgam filling, was fractured due to secondary
caries and fatigue of the cusps. After endodontic
treatment, a core was constructed from the core composite resin, with
two carbon/graphite fiber root canal posts.
A wide bevel preparation was made for the fiber-reinforced
composite crown.
- A view of crown fiberframe. For the crown
frame, the technician cuts 2-3 sufficiently large Perma
Mesh pieces, wets them with light curing resin and makes a crown
frame (see the user instructions for crowns and bridges). The fibers
in a fiberframe should be visible on the attachment
surface to obtain the best possible join between the crown and tooth.
- A ready fiber-reinforced crown. For veneering
the crown technician can use any kind of laboratory composite resin
- Occlusal view of a ready crown. For cementation use either chemically
or dual-curing composite resin luting cement.
- The finished bridge from the side.
