A fresh solution is to use the new
Preci-Sagix female on these worn
balls.
The female engages a larger surface
area than traditional spherical
females, providing a more retentive,
stable removable prosthesis. Patients
love the security of the audible
click, and dental professionals
appreciate that both the 1.7mm and
2.2mm nylon females are compatible
with existing systems on the market.
For
new cases, the Sagix offers the
choice of a plastic castable ball,
cast-to metal ball (for maximum
precision), and a threaded ball
(2.2mm only).

The
precision housings accommodate all
three different retention females.
If
the ball is so worn that retention
can not be provided by the Sagix
females, use one of PREAT’s
spherical retrofit kits with ball
sizes of 1.8mm, 2.2mm, or 2.5mm.
The new Titanium balls are bonded
to the existing balls and the prosthesis
is retrofitted (it’s a great
time for a reline!) to accommodate
the new female attachments. |
